Our Smartplus Program for Dyslexia incorporates components of the Advanced
Integration Program, Focus Coaching and work in reading and spelling using an
Orton-Gillingham influenced multisensory system recommended by the
International Dyslexia Association. The LiPS program, Lindamood Phoneme
Sequencing, is brought in for additional support when a student has problems
that prevent the student from hearing the difference between groups of
sounds.

Our dyslexia assessment will allow us to determine the severity of the dyslexia as well as the most
appropriate programs to use with the student. Recommendations for accommodations can also be
given, which can be used in building a 504 plan or existing IEP.

There is no magical cure or method that will fix or cure dyslexia. Dyslexia is a processing style that a
person is born with and it is a component of how their brain works. Our Smartplus program can help
your student with reading, writing, and spelling frustration and failure often associated with dyslexia.
